I would make your mead and then blend it with some mango concentrate to see if you like it first. Seems to me that you would need a lot of mangos and that is just way too much work.

Try this link and email them for a sample, at the very least you'll get an idea.

best of luck!

on thing that i have been experimenting around with is costco has been getting in fruit juice that has no chemicals in it at all. its just heat pasturized. the gravity of most of these juices are around 1.055 to 1.060. they had a mango one recently that could be a good water base for mead. i tried one that was a blueberry juice that was just pasturized and it seems to be fermenting well. it also has the flavors that you would expect when someone says "this is blueberry mead". extract is kinda boring. try something new and outside the box!

Get some pectic enzyme when using mango. The guys around here that use it regularly say it is a thick gummy mess that will never clear otherwise.

Also try Trader Joe's and Whole Foods. Amazon probably has it too. Amazon has everything...

You should check out Olive Nation's mango extract. It is very potent stuff and erases all the issues with using real fruit. These extracts are pricey but are the real deal. They are very authentic tasting and make it seem like real fruit was used unlike other extracts out there.
