bentonite to clear a mead

i just did my first brew ever and its a tradional mead
no problems, fermented real well, messed up a few things but nothing bad

thank you bn for the help

has anyone ever used bentonite to clear a mead, i saw a youtube video where i guy did, just wanted some feedback on it

I thought bendonite was used to bind up tannins and pectin. Since honey has neither AFAIK, my guess is bentonite won't help.

I've used that in a couple of my meads and liked the outcome.

maybe a better questions is what do you guys like to use to clean up a mead
