I just started making beer about 2 weeks ago. I have my second batch fermenting right now. I got one of those bucket kits for 15 bucks off ebay new. My first batch of beer was english brown ale. My second one is strawberry blonde ale. Never drank homemade beer before hope I like it.

I got a glass carboy today and put my strawberry blonde in there. I will leave it till the primary of the next batch is finished. the reading was 1.020 before i put it in. Me and my buddies drank a few of the english brown first batch. It was only in the bottle a little over a week and already tastes pretty good. My one friend is already hooked by the end of the month we should be doing 15 gallons at a time. We just pitched the yeast edinburgh ale yeast #wlp028. Just waiting on the airlock to show its taking off. Been making beer for only a few weeks and already like it.

Well you survived enough to make another batch. Congratulations on a sucessful brew. It only gets better as you learn to brew and improve your methods. This can get costly as you advance into different brews, but the pleasure outweighs the cost. Cheers.
