Whats up guys and gals? I have been going through the archives to play some catch up over the past 6 months, I only have 7 months of show left till I am caught up. This show is awesome and has gotten me into home brewing and love the hobby. Thank you J for the show and everyone that makes the BN what it is, keep up the good work.

Welcome to the insanity. Seeing as how you already have the plague, I guess you don't have to worry about catching anything worse from us.
You've told us about your listening, so now tell us more about your brewing. Please.

Been brewing for 6 months now and started mini mash and made 3 batches one complete failure and two great brews. The complete failure was a Belgian Golden Strong that turned into an exploding champagne bottle (gives a whole new meaning to bottle bomb) and a dumped batch. I am now AG and have the first batch of that in the carboy, a California Common, waiting for it to complete. I didn't like working with extract all that much so I figure I would just take the jump and bought a red cooler, pipe fittings, and braided stainless line and made a mash tun. Have also made a successful Black Berry Wine and have a 1/2 gal of mead going. Next investment will be a kegging system.

Just think of dumping a batch as "pouring one out for the dead homies".
