Just wanted to say I love the site and the radio show. I am new to brewing and have learned a ton already from everyone. What a nice bunch of people you have here.

Hey thanks Rob. welcome...both to TBN and to brewing. I'll tell you this...the more we hear that we are helping people brew...with info and what not, the more excited we get about doing this thing. Thanks for the encouragement.

Hey Justin,
I have been listening to your podcasts and archives to catch up on what you have done so far. It's been interesting and pretty god damn funny too. I have the 9/4/05 show on now with Jamil Zainashef talking about yeast. Thank god you were there... I'm basically lazy so having you there to balance things out helps. After all the steps he was talking about to get a starter going you put in perspective when you said how you do it, phew!

I have a couple of extract with grains brews under my belt (literally as they are a just about gone already) and the information from this show has and will prove very helpful. Not sure where I'll go with the homebrewing thing at this point other than making some beer that I like to drink. I most likely won't be getting into competition or build a brew house lie Jamil but who knows. Either way I hope you guys stick around so folks like me have some place to go for information.

So, have you quit your day job yet?

Later,

Rob

ha. Haven't quit the day job just yet...but I'm getting closer every day. Maybe with the new year????

Anyway, that's good to know. I'm definitely the beer idiot around here, but I don't mind that. I like to keep things simple. So I leave the tech to them...then dumb it down for you and me. After all, every class needs a clown.

Well, move on over because there is now a dumb ass old man to share the "duh" with you in home brewing.

To be honest, I like drinking beer more than making it...
