Hi everyone.
One night I was sitting down drinking some HopDevil and thought it would be a good idea to have my try at growing my own hops and brewing some beer.
I've read through quite a few books about hop growing and beer brewing, so I think I understand the basics fairly well. I find the Brewing Network's radio show to be an excellent addition to what I have learned, as I learn lots of new information every time I listen to the show.
I haven't brewed any beer yet, but hope to rectify that soon. I plan to start with extract brewing and work my way up to all-grain when I'm comfortable. I'm sure I'll make my share of mistakes on the way while gaining experience, but I think it'll be a lot easier to get off to a solid start with the information I have gathered from this show and elsewhere.
Well, guess it's time to drink down some of the Sierra Nevada Pale Ale I just bought.
Gotta love the hops.
