An Okie living in Texas

Howdy from Texas,
My name is Mike and my handle is Bergerandfries. Some of my Brit friends gave me that nickname and it's the coolest, most complementary I've heard in my whole life. With my last name, I get "furburger, frybooger, etc..." The joys of a Bavarian heritage!
Points goes to the play on my last name that I haven't heard before!
Anyway, I grew up and lived in Tulsa for about 30 years before the great dust bowl of Telecom in 2000 pushed me to Big D. I've been brewing for 2 years now and love all grain beers. Because they are cheaper than extract
Yep, I'm a cheap-ass-scrounging-equipment-making-keep-it-as-free-as-I-can-kind-of-brewer
I've been drinking real beer for 3 years, thus my homebrewing to keep the $80 for beer per month of the Visa bill yet still not drink BMC.
I look forward to learning and laughing with the rest of the village idiots
