I did the kiwi apple cider as more of an experiment. It's a very odd combination but I think with a little time and a racking onto some fresh apples it'll improve.

As Bdawg stated, frozen can be tough in cider. But well-scrubbed zucchini's may be an option too.

A judicious bit of habanero works in a cider too. Just "dry hop" it with a seeded habenero and let do it's thing for a couple days. Be sure to check the flavor every 10-12 hours to make sure you haven't overdone it.
