Howdy!

Mon Jun 29, 2015 9:08 am

Hey folks,

Been lurking on here a while, decided to start being a little more active.

I've been brewing for about a year and a half now, mostly making all grain BIAB beers. However, with a job that requires 50+ hours a week and engineering school on the side, I've been brewing extract again lately because of the time savings.

I've been taking a "fix what's broken" approach to brewing, and so far I've tackled oxidation and water chemistry. Yeast are up next, and I plan on getting some sort of fermentation chamber, and some lab gear to make slants.

Still looking for a home brewing community that's friendly and doesn't take things too seriously, we'll see how I fit in around here.

Welcome aboard!

I think you will fit in just fine. Keep in mind that there are a lot of great brewers on this forum who love to help out with their expertise and knowledge. Don't be afraid to ask any AND all questions you may have.

Cheers-

Well, maybe not ALL questions. We tend to avoid ones about BD's :unicornrainbow: :nutters: & just accept him for who he is.

I kinda figured that, and the :asshat: looked like a good sign.
