Whats up everyone! Navy brewer here. Been brewing for about 5 years on and off, and recently decided I wanted to start getting a bit more serious about it. Been lurking around the site a lot lately (deployments can be boring...) and figured I might as well enlist again.

Been stocking up on some brewing items since I deployed in November. More fermenters, bigger brew kettle, all the components to build a keezer, etc. Still brewing extract (my own recipes though), but I plan on cranking out quite a few batches in the next few months, then hopefully build a Brutus over the winter and make the move to AG.

Looking forward to learning from everyone!

I think you’re on the right track. I’d defiantly start kegging and doing temp controlled fermentation before switching to all grain.
