hey everyone. my name is adam and i was just homebrewer of the week! (jan 20th) after talking with the guys i finally decided to sign up and be a part of this kick ass network. i have been brewing for 4 years and i am still crazy over this hobby.

Welcome Adam. That sure is a nice brewstand you have. Can't wait to see some of the "after" pictures, when it's had a few batches done on it.

I am in Hugo. and thank you. the brew stand should be complete by the end of February! will share more pics. that is galvanized steel (super strut) and I was surprised to see after a test burn with water for about 40 min there was hardly no discoloration. I was worried about the zinc producing fumes but i really dont think the burners can get hot enough for that kind of reaction. from what I understand that coating can only be burned off at a really high temp. that material is moderately cheap and extremely easy to put together a lot simpler than welding plus all parts can be found at Home Depot.
