Beer Forum

Hello all!

Hello ALL!

I am so happy to be joining you in what I hope to be an educational and fun environment. I hope to learn from those of you more experienced than myself at homebrewing, and that are willing to dumb down brewing for me. I have been assisting my brother in law for the past 2 years on a few brews, about 4 brews. I began to get the basics under my belt, but then I went and brewed with a friend, who used a totally different brewing process. I'm hoping to expand my knowledge of beers and meet a few of you all in the process. I've begun listening to "The Session" via podcast, as I work overnights and there isn't much on the radio. I'm glad to see there is a place I can go to learn and listen.

I currently use the Untappd application, greengoldcrew, and am always up for suggestions. I live in Minneapolis, MN, which like most metropolitan areas, has a booming microbrew market. It seems as though every city in the Minneapolis/St Paul area has their own brewery these days.

Can't wait to see what's going on with the trademarked logo and the brewery using it without permission.

I am looking forward to meeting you, and I come with an open mind, ready to learn!

Welcome. Just sent you a friend request on Untappd (BNDarkside).

Search the forums (a lot of stuff has been asked) or ask your questions...we are more forgiving than some other forums <cough> beeradvocate <cough> that get on people about asking the same question over and over. Except for that D-rest thing...Willem is still waiting on the answer for that one (inside forum joke).

I will try to review the forum prior to asking any questions, hmmmm, I should probably shrink my sig line icon too
