Hello all-

Heard about this site from another fourm and thought I would bounce over and check it out. Great stuff, almost to much for a quick visit!!!I have been brewign off and on for 10 plus years, but really got into it 4 years ago. Been AG for 3 years. I am total hop head. I enjoy trying new hops to access their flavors and profiles and pair it with other hops, grains ect.. in my minds eye would go well together. The art and science of brewing is great!! Brewing has also kept me out of the bars and in my garage where my wife can keep an eye on me. She is over my obsession with beer. She puts up to my detours on road trips and when I dissapear in the beer isle at any store. I always tell her "everything is better with beer". Brewing beer is a peaceful/Zen like experience for me. I am working on my 85th gallon for the year today. Hope to hit 100!!

Looking forward to talikng to you all....

Be prepared for the snarky comments some of these ppl will throw at you.. I tend to be a bit more on the reserved side so fear nothing from me. Looks like you might be a good fit to the information side of things cause you seem to care what goes into the beer and how it tastes, unlike Justin who is just trying to eek out every last bit of alcohol.
Look forward to hearing more from you.

Welcome Brotha!

Glad you found us here in BN land. I hope you make 100 gallons this year too...then I won't be the biggest alcoholic in the bunch.

Welcome anyway!

What's up with the cool hat??? Looks like ski weeek 96'

I got my 85th gallon in this weekend, I have the next 20 planned so 100 will not be an issue. Only problem......I have less than 5 gallon available to drink!!! :( Football season has taken a toll on the inventory, its only the 3rd week!!! I-IPA is LOOOOW, must brew more....Nothing worse than a monday hangover GRRRRR. I was a bit fuzzy after last nights game, I am a huge Donkies, I mean Broncos fan.

Gallon 85 Cream Ale, fermenting away on at 64 F. Good Football watchin' beer, OG 1.048 SG 1.010 Next up, Scotch Porter, 10% of the grains from Peated and Raunch malts OG 1.066, FG1.014, nice beverage to sip into the crisp fall nights....whats in your carboy??
