Greeting my friend and sometimes foe snowcapt introduced me to this site and motivated me to give brewing a try. I picked up a northern brewer deluxe starter kit with a few extra goodies including an extract kit off craigslist last week which my wife and I cooked up this past Sunday. I currently have 5 gallons of Irish Red Ale rumbling in our hall closet and picked up an oatmeal stout kit I plan on brewing this Sunday. I hope to learn more about the brewing process and move into all grain brewing and of course drink good beer with my friends. On an unrelated note the name Mothman stems from my irrational hatred (fear) of those dust covered winged spawn of satan known as moths.
