Hi all. I have been brewing since ~ 1997. Started AG in 2000. I brew quite often as of late.
I love almost all types of beer. Depends on mood, season, people, location....etc.
Lately I have been on a belgian kick, exploring farmhouse ales (South Hampton Saison - yum), as well as revisting hopped-up ales but with low bitterness. Ie. Low hop additions in the early additions but with gobs of late hops.
I was born in London, England. Raised in Massachusetts. Lived all over while in the Navy. And have lived in Pittsburgh, PA area for 8 years.
I have some bottles of an Abbey-styled ale on hand (9.5% abv). Kegged I have a Pumkin Porter (6.7% abv), an American Porter (6.5%abv), a late hopped IPA (7.2% abv), and a Jalapeno Pilsner (5.7% abv). I am brewing a traditional Tripel this Saturday (11-19-11).
