I've been brewing for almost 2 years. I'm a process control engineer with a background in sofware and electrical engineering. In 18 months I've made 54 5 gallon batches of beer. I took and passed the BJCP exam this past Spring. Judging and making beer are a great pair of hobbies.

I love the BN. The whole crew of Brewcasters rock. I can't imagine life without these guys (and a gal). I'm screwed if they ever go off the air.

8 extract, 46 AG...

I'm moving into Lagers this Winter, so I'm very excited/interested in Jamil's Munich Helles show on 25-Sep. I read Dornbuch's book on Munich Helles, but I don't know anyone locally that brews a Helles. I've picked up more from John Plise's comments on the BN than anything I've read.

Currently on tap: IPA, APA, Robust Porter
Secondary: Kolsch
To brew: Munich Helles, Dunkel, Wee Heavy and Traditional Bock

Jon Plise is not as stupid as I look.

Welcome to the BN! (still don't know to pitch warm or cold...)

...just about Munich Helles.

I don't want to make anyone jealous. Actually, I think I've learned more from Chris White than any single person on the BN. It's hard to beat the Pope though. He does have his own show. All hail the Pope!

Hello, my name is "your name" and I cold/warm pitch. For the record, I've done both and made great beer.
