Greetings from Pennsylvania...

Sat Apr 23, 2011 5:13 am

Just wanted to introduce myself as a new forum member from the mountains of central PA. I've been listening to the Sunday Session and the Jamil Show for some time now and figured I might as well join the brewing collective consciouness that is the BN Army. As for now, Im drinking my first all-grain, a Robust Porter that tastes like shit and an American Pale Ale that is really good. I just bottled a tripel on Wednesday and I am preparing for my first ever two brew day May first which will be a Patersbier and an American Wheat. I don't do AG kits, I like to make my own recipes. Brewing to a particular style while twisting some aspects to my liking seems to be me style at this point. I look forward to reading the forum.

Welcome aboard brewing brother! Glad to hear you know what you are interested in drinking AND brewing. There are tons of great brewers on here with lots of good info to glean from. Enjoy the craziness!

Cheers -

Welcome! It's good to have another PA homebrewer and BNer. Seems that those West Coasters are taking over everything. There is a homebrew club in Harrisburg that meets at Scotzin Brothers in Lemoyne. Our homebrew club is about 1-1/2 hours to the north of you, but you're more than welcome to attend a meeting.
