hi guys, just dropping in to say hello. been listening in to some of the archives nothing like it over in the uk. home brew was really big here in the eighties, but has died a death since then. i do full mash over here. and have had a dabble with wine. done about twenty or so batches only dissapointments were when my boiler went tits up on me in the middle of brewing. always use dcl yeasts. safale s-04 and saflager s-23. i'm scottish, but stuck in england. good local brewery twent odd miles down the road who sells me grain and hops really cheap, so most of my recipes are tailored around what he brews with. always made my own recipes using other recipes as reference. listening to a few of the archives and really enjoying the info, just have to keep remebering that our gallons and pints are bigger and convert the temps from fahrenheit to celsius.hope to hear from you all soon. all the best, t

Welcome aboard Brewster. And, our gallons only look smaller because you're so far away. :P
