And, Love the new avatar, Uhrig!

Thanks B! Just kickin it old school. OE was the first beer I drank. None of that sissy Nattly light BS.

Thanks for the response Carlos. It's good to see you guys sticking around here. Since your show I had to go out and find your beers, and I was very happy I did. I hope all the new beer sales will allow you all to quite your day job and brew beer all the time!

Damn good stuff...

Massis Banda is a spice from the nutmeg family, it is infact the most aromatic and noble variant of all nutmegs. for the best result, only add it the last minute of the boil.

Cheers and best regards,
Carlo Grootaert.

Where can you find massis banda ... I have been searching just out of curiosity and it's like it doesn't exist. :) Does it go by any other names?

I love Struise beers by the way .. beautiful beers. thanks.

The Banda Isles are an Indonesian group of small vulcanic Isles in the Banda Sea. To be more spicified, its located in the Molukken area of Indonesia. Capital is Banda Neira. In the 19th century the only source of inkom was the trade of spices like nutmeg end foelie.
Still the nutmeg with origine Banda is the best in the world.
At Struise we, only use the best possible spices in our beers, it allows us to use less and we achive the best results.

Try to find nutmeg with origine Banda.

Cheers,
Carlo.

Same with this one:
