HERMSman posted the same request for information in another topic area. This same sort of thing happened with two other new forum users recently. Spiderwrangler was expressing a little frustration. And now back to the show.

I was confused too. It sounds like it begins in the middle of a different show. Maybe the tail end of the prior CYBI? They will do back-to-back shows live.

This is what happens when you farm out your work to a foreign country :)

On a weird note, I was on vacation last week and I'm just getting around to listening to this show. This beer sounds great, so I start the recipe portion, back it up when I don't catch everything, listen some more, etc. Now, I have never heard of Kern River, Kern county, etc...I haven't even been to California. I'm at work and as I'm writing down the recipe, my phone rings and it is a number from a 661 area code. Who the F$$^ is that?? A quick google search tells me area code 661 is Kern County, California...weird!

I'm going to go out and buy lottery tickets tonight

P.S. I just finished watching "The Cape" on Netflix, and Summer Glau is HOT!! :jnj

I was, but the thread summary was quite handy as well...

Cheers

After listening to this show, I'm putting this one in the rotation to be brewed, and soon. I was going through my freezer and found a bag of 2009 Citra ( 13.4% AA ). I already have the Amarillo and figure I could use US Magnum for bittering since Tasty substituted Warrior for the Nugget...any clean bittering hop should work.

Do you think the 2009 Citra that has been in the freezer in a food storage bag will still have what it takes to pull this beer off?

Calculating the grams to ounces, the recipe calls for about 6.5 oz of Citra total including the dry hop. I think I have about 10 oz. in the freezer. Should I bump up the amounts a little to make up for the long storage time?
