Can you knuckleheads fart instead of burping? So I don't have to hear it. (Unless you mic your bung holes). Can't wait for the water chemistry show. Should be very technical.... you adjust water pH with...BURP.... 5 star makes....BURP......proper mash pH is...BURP.... should be great! 8)

I didn't hear last Sunday's show, but that is usually only Justin

You should listen to it doc...lots of philosophical debate amongst some of the greatest thinkers of our time (J, Roger, O'Sullivan) debating whether a name is more than a name, the difference between a Maibock and a German Maibock, and whether Mike Jackson should be drunk of the week.

Plus, the conspiracy theory is that Jamil was the secret belcher. No mask used either...

While I don't mind a good burp now and again, I thought they were particularly poorly timed during the show and generally caused the topic to shift as the speaker lost his train of thought. So please plan your belches a little better.

I am unsure which is more ridiculous at this point. The burping or the bitching that has ensued afterward.

Damn it! I leave them alone for one show and bedlam ensues...

I agree. Since when have homebrewers gotten so *burp* worked up over belching, and for that matter I wouldnt mind hearing a fart or two every now and again. In fact i think they should do fart evaluations from time to time instead of beer evaluations. I could see it now. "Hmmmm this fart is fairly clean. Light aroma with a pleasing nutty character. Im detecting some corn in it though, did you use any adjuncts?" Or, "Wheeeew big DMS smell coming off this one and it really sour. You might want to evlauate your wiping technique." Allright Im drunk and ive taken this too far so im gonna stop while im ahead.

Did anyone else burp on opening of this thread? Or was it a mere local coincidence?

Cheers,
Greg
