This morning I saw Neurosis is doing pre-orders for a massive box set - everything they've ever released on high quality vinyl & CD with all the usual extras. I haven't listened to them in a while so I've had that in the background all morning.

What I've been playing the shit out of lately is the new Lamb of God album, the latest Arch Enemy album & Amon Amarth.

The new Baroness album, Purple, is really good, if you're into progressive-ish rock/metal.

Mostly Dwight Yokam, Steve Earl and Hayes Carll. But that's oldies to me. I'm looking for some new music, and picking up a few songs off KRLQ and KJVC. Also revisiting old Trini Lopez, Roy Orbeson, and Johnny Rivers tunes, and finding a few gems. It's an uphill battle, because most of the "new" music out there is pure crap. :-)

Lamb of God is up for a Grammy for a song off their new album

The new album from Fit For An Autopsy is pretty damn good too. Absolute Hope, Absolute Hell.
