I use xmms. It's small and lightweight, and it plays the stream just great.

Thanks I just revived a computer that had a dead hard drive and was debating whether to load Ubuntu or just reload Windblows XP. Being able to listen to the feed was one of the considerations.

Related question. Will Ubuntu handle the chat? Is there a version of Java supported under linux?

My buddy installed java after loading the base OS with no issues. I just dropped into the chat and it's working just fine.

Interface is very clean and easy thus far I think you'll like it better than the XP Bug. I'll post occasional updates on my user experience, but from a fairly savy nontechie I am very happy with the new system.

Yeah, I've been using the chat and the stream on Linux since day one. No issues. I'm using Gentoo, but was able to get it working easily on Slackware as well.

glad to see some linux users pushing that everything TBN related works well. I have a spare box... that doesn't doo much, but play cards, so I will be putting unbuntu on it soon. It might become my beeerrr computer, eventually. :D

Yeah, I was actually surprised to hear that it worked on Windows. I've never tried it there before.
