Hey all,

I think we are back on our old servers now. Might still take another day or so for all DNS to point here. All posts from new server, which were mostly "shit's broked" psots anyway are gone forever. But at least things appear to be working back to normal.

Can't speak for the others but my offer of IT help still stands.

We have lost the post where we were all working out whwn to meet in the chat... shall we pick up where we left off?

I think we can just pick up when we set a date to "meet". Give me some time to wrap some other things up and compile a list of things that need to get done, and I'll post to get it started.

So you guys going to try the server move again? Or are you back with your old host for the forseeable future?

I hate dealing with hosting companies. I've had to do it on many occasions. Been there, Done that, got the scars to prove it. Why do they all seem to employ people who ride the special bus?

If you still need to move I know a couple of great hosts that don't ride the special bus. One of them I've been using for 2 years now without any major problems and when they had a major problem with a total server crash and hard drive failure, everything was up and working again withing 12 hrs all clients on the machine restored and working properly. It's basically the next step up from shared hosting but when you are not quite read for a dedicated server and the costs to go with that. http://servint.com/vps/
