Thanks man! The bottles were packed in wine bottle shippers I get free from my local bottle shop. Most wine stores have TONS of them to get rid of!

Thanks Doc!!! Timing was perfect! In fact you are one of the earliest SS senders I have experienced ... I think I am still waiting on a couple from several years ago, but I have faith and patience. One guy was the first time he had ever brewed, so I can only imagine that it came out extremely horrible and was ashamed to send out the result of his efforts and probably never brewed again ...

I am looking forward to enjoying the brews this weekend. If the RIS is stellar, I may want some recipe tips as the comercial examples I try are either great with lots of date/raisin/roast/malt goodness or thick tar-like burnt roast/coffee tannic messes. I would guess that yours will be of the prior variety. The eisbock will be a first for me as well as the Rare Barrel bottle. Thanks again and see you in San Diego.

Glad you got the package!

The RIS will have some Brett character from the barrel, but last time I tried it, it balanced well.

Yeah, starting to think I may have gotten stiffed this year. Haven't given up hope yet though.
