Quite happy to see the return. This web-show reached quite a few homebrewers and inspired many, including me, to stop reading and start brewing. I hope the new show does well.

Hey - BTV is back!

And it's awful.

It's a pity the decision was made to continue using the BTV name for what's been released.

Some of it seems like they're being intentionally dorky.
But it's no Keeler and Dawson and the Chipper.
Gimme oysters and beer (and Durian) for dinner every day of the year...

Might wait to make a call on it until they do a actual brew day episode, the current one seems to be more of a marketing push to sell more kegs, kinda useful but nothing new.
Fermenting; manuka smoked barley wine, 3203 red ale.
Bottled; too many,
Kegged; 60/-
On Deck; Count ding dong and inbred ding dong, belgian dark strong with/out brett.
Building; single tier brew system

I am not optimistic about the future of BTV. This was an infomercial hosted by people reciting memorized lines. The previous episode on hops hosted by an NB manager (maybe the president?) was no better. Maybe useful for some NB customers, the same lot who are buying their ridiculously overpriced "equipment refresh" and gallon batch kits. Plus their prices seem to have increased across the board and shipping has gotten much more expensive. The only positive thing that I can say about them is that they sponsor the BN.

For those who want their fix of Dawson, Chip just released episode 10 of Chop and Brew featuring Dawson brewing a Boat Bitter
