If you can choose, which kind of glasses do you prefer to drink Munich Helles and Dortmunder Export beers? The Pilsner glass, the liter (or half-liter) glass, or something else?

I like the Willi Becher type glasses for most every German beer except Weissbier. In particular for Helles and Export this is the glass you would get in a restaurant. At least a few years back. Now different breweries want to distinguish themselves with their glassware.

Kai's suggestion is EXACTLY the way they serve those beers in Germany. get a few of those and you'll be quite happy.

+1 on the willibecker. I ordered a couple of the ayinger glasses from merchant du vin. They're always the first glass that's used.
