I always wait until late in the boil, after I have cleaned the mash tun, to have a beer. I don't want to get too tipsy to deal with hot wort or to remember to clean the mash tun right away.
Funny, I was sure that Boob would have posted by now. He probably drinks like a crazed alcoholic monkey from India (see the Free FM show from yesterday) when he brews. Boob rant to follow...

I drink and dress like a freshman sorority girl while drinking... a minimum of 3 Zimas or Wine Coolers.
Hmmm in reality after 5pm I almost always have a beer in my hand... sooo I am usually drinking whilst brewing.
