Its raining like hell here, but I'm contemplating a partial mash of my Amber Ale. I've got an 800ml starter for it in the fridge, and my wife is cleaning up after breakfast at the moment. I can't see rainwater hurting the brewing process...

Temp control is the challenge at the moment - its hotter than forty fat bastards. Brew the big ales and stouts and hope any off flavours are lost in the mix. Strong Ale in the fermenter, in the wardrobe with a couple of ice bricks. Todays forecast is 43C.
