Maple Wheat beer

Well I'm planning on making a Maple Wheat beer from a recipe I found but I would like to do more of a maple nut flavor. Anyone ever added walnuts or something to the wort and made something like this? Any suggestions on how I would go about doing this?

I have used pecans and macadamia nuts in beer. About an oz per gallon to be subtle but there. Toasting them at around 325 for 15 min after chopping. Pan toasting works well too. Try to dab away any oils afterwards. I had no head retention issues with these beers. I find 30 min addition to be a good flavor addition time. Good luck
