Add the oak in primary for additional dimensions in the body.

I agree with the levitation clone working...also the bam biere clone could work if you dont add bugs.

Just finished brewing the English Mild. I bit the bullet and oaked it with some medium toasted French oak. I hit Jamil's OG reading perfectly, so hopefully in a week it will be finished fermenting. After that, I'll stick it in the fridge and carb it. Should be interesting to see how it turns out. I've never tried to get a beer out this quickly before.

Thanks for the help!

I just took a gravity reading after 5 days and it is already at my expected final gravity! 002 rocks! The sample tasted REAL smooth, I almost wish it would have more time sitting on the oak! I'm raising it up to 70 degrees now and giving it a diacytl rest over the next few days, and then I'm going to force carb it Friday night to be ready by Sunday!

Very psyched about it!

I Love the Jamil Mild recipe. I made it 6 weeks ago and it just recently got a 42.5 in a local comp. Must have been a good category as it did not place. It just seems to get better with a little time but was great two weeks out for sure.
